There was just a moment of cat admiration, a glitch in my brain, and then this writer’s guild came to be. A clutch of hardcore Midwesterners (my roommates, colleagues and fellow graduate friends) are Creative Cat Society, and that hyperlink there is evidence of our efforts.

Everyone is welcome to be a Creative Cat. It’s really just a state of mind.

These posts here are the continuation of a mission to be constantly on the creative offense, keeping the juices flowing in our Midwestern hands. Doesn’t matter the form or the content, so long as it yanked us from our sadsongs haze and got us moving. It all counts, even if it’s flounced.
